Clothes make the man

      Mark Twain, The famous American author and humorist who was called " the father of American literature" once said it: "Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society." I do believe in the saying "Clothes make the man."
      you know, Millions of years ago we human beings began to appear in this blue planet, while it didn't take long for the appearing of the Clothes invented by our ancestors. When early man invented clothes, although just some leaves from trees or fur skins from animals, no doubt, he just wanted to keep warm. After a handful of years passing away, with the great development and civilization of human beings, I am sure he never intended that it should become as elaborate as it has become today.
     In now days, perhaps you may think it’s unjust to judge a book by its cover, but the fact remains it’s human nature to judge a person based on their appearance. A person dressed in beat up jeans and faded T-shirt may be as competent and smart as the person wearing a formal suit, but clothes make a difference on how the world views us. For instance, with jeans and colorful t-shirts computer programmers or advertising copywriters display their creativity and spontaneity. While a banker who wears a tie with stripes in a suit delivers a practically revolutionary image. Everyday, from the frequency that we check the clothes we are in before the mirror, it's obvious that clothes are important to us. People do feel better in better Clothes. But why and how?
        First, Cloth is just like an ID for a person. Clothes help to tell people who we are even when we don't need explain. That's very important especially for our first image left to others. So, for dates, we are always dressed in a way of good expression of our temperament and personality that we want people to know. Try to leave a deep and good impression and let them remember you. Why we do like this? Surly, you and I believe that it will increase the rate of a success date.
      What's more, Clothes don't only "make the man" in the eyes of others — they define the person in his own eyes, and create his self-perspective. We always find that we'd like to buy clothes which we thought would match us. How we look on ourselves, how the style we will be in. So, the Lady Gaga's goal of being most shocking person shows so successfully by her astonished clothes.
       Finally, Clothes pay a important role as a part of our image. Since we do not have a perfect appearance to fulfill our self-confident, by the add of decorating clothes we can make up it. There is a recent research shows that people act much better if they are in good clothing. They feel that they are well-liked and good-looking. So fit clothes actually enhance our efficiency.
       In conclusion, I believe that clothes make the man. Clothes not only use as the traditional function of keeping out of cold and covering up, but also a showing out spirit of us. Which is a kind of way to know us. Then, more or less, we are what we are in.
